a slide presentation by architect, Dogan W. Arthur, and author, Dana Robbat
highlighting the historical arc of Modernism in Lincoln
based on Plain Living, High Thinking: Social Idealists and their Architecture

The Friends of Modern Architecture/Lincoln Annual Award
presented to Historic New England and Carl R. Nold, President and CEO
in recognition of outstanding leadership in protecting New England’s cultural history
including Lincoln’s landmark 1938 Gropius House
