ORAL HISTORY PROJECT

FoMA’s Oral History Project, begun in 2014, records for posterity the voices of Lincoln architects and homeowners associated with the modern movement(1937-1970). Video and audio recordings completed to date include homeowners discussing their experiences of living in modern houses designed by local architects. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Lincoln Cultural Council, a local agency, which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

If you would like to share your experiences of living in or designing a modern house (or if you know of someone we should contact), we would love to hear from you.
