A dozen FoMA members carpooled up to New Hampshire on a warm Indian summer afternoon to experience the wonders of the Louis Kahn-designed library. FoMA Board Member Harry Hoover researched the history and design of the library, and gave a short introduction to the building before we journeyed together through the 9 floors of carrels, stacks, reading areas and meeting rooms. The Library is an architectural gem and very photogenic. In 1997, it was awarded the American Institute of Architects' Twenty-Five Year Award.
