We were graced with a lovely summer day for the open house at the Abbott House, and the event was well attended. Dana Robbat gave a short talk on Lawrence B. Anderson's architectural work and his 46-year long teaching career at MIT. Members were free to wander the grounds, which look out over a private pond, originally put in by Dr. Abbott to give him a long water view from the terrace and house.
