The FoMA Annual Meeting with Presentation of Excellence in Modernism Award was held Saturday, November 5, 2016, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Walden Pond State Park Reservation Approximately sixty guests had a rare opportunity to visit the recently completed Visitor Center at Walden Pond on a crisp fall day, and listen to Robin Pfetch and Mary Ann Thompson talk about their vision in it's creation. Board member Andrew Glass presented the women with Friends of Modern Architecture/Lincoln Excellence in Modernism Award. Guests also enjoyed classical music played by Glass's daughter Emily. After the talk, a guests enjoyed a reception. More information about the Award is pending.
